Summary

CHS is looking for a Hazmat Driver to join our team in Plainview. This individual will be hauling crop protection products to local customers in the area. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, daytime hours, and drivers are home each night for supper. Join our amazing team today!

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement highly preferred
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals

Additional Qualifications

• Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
• Must meet DOT and Company requirements
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
• Bulk liquid experience preferred

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
