Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials using various equipment while complying with DOT, EPA, state and local regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers verifying equipment integrity and shipment records.
• Maintain up-to-date DOT requirements including driver logs and permits.
• Communicate with customers regarding load conditions or paperwork inconsistencies and notify supervisors of issues.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and perform housekeeping duties.
