Job summary

JARBO is seeking a full-time Hazmat Branch Manager to lead environmental emergency response operations and branch personnel in the Omaha, NE metro area. The role oversees hazardous materials incident response, regulatory compliance, and workforce management; on-call 24/7/365.

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, with salaried pay, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and vacation/sick leave; travel to incident sites is

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in field operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; able to pass MVR and screenings.
• Willing to travel and be on-call 24/7/365; 40+ hours per week.
• Must read, write and speak English; travel as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in environmental services, hazardous waste, or emergency response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct hazmat emergency response operations including spill containment and recovery; submit regulatory reports.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage branch personnel; ensure HAZWOPER and safety certifications.
• Oversee confined space entry operations and industrial tank cleaning projects.
• Implement processes to achieve regulatory compliance, safety objectives, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and travel to sites.
