Job summary

Veolia North America in Huntington Beach/Aliso Viejo is seeking a Hazardous Waste Technician to provide specialized transportation and disposal services to clients. Responsibilities include manifesting, labeling, spill cleanup, and coordinating transportation in compliance with DOT/EPA and VES-TS policies.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 40-hour HAZWOPER, a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to obtain a Class A/B CDL with Hazardous endorsement; Bachelor’s in Chemistry

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Prior work in hazardous waste or related industry required.

Responsibilities

• Manifesting, labeling, packaging, spill cleanup and coordination of transportation.
• Sample and profiling of waste streams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/EPA and internal policies.
• Maintain professional client relations and timely documentation.
