Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a dedicated transportation and disposal professional to service clients with compliant waste handling, labeling, loading, and coordination of shipments under DOT/EPA rules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, preferred chemistry degree, 40-hour HAZWOPER, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain Class A/B CDL with Hazardous endorsement. Veolia offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazardous endorsement

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup and labeling.
• Loading/unloading and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional image and address client inquiries.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
