Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a qualified candidate for a hazardous waste material handling role at a 10-day transfer facility. Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, staging, and preparing shipments while ensuring compliance with USDOT and EPA regulations.

The position requires DOT knowledge, basic computer skills, and experience with warehousing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred and safety is emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Prior work experience of 1-2 years in a related position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stage hazardous waste in the 10-day transfer facility.
• Review manifests for correct count and description before transfer.
• Enter manifest data into daily log to maintain 10-day period.
