Job summary

Veolia is hiring an Environmental Technician II to support waste treatment and handling at our North America operations. The role focuses on knowing inbound waste locations, treating waste with onsite equipment, and completing required paperwork following Veolia practices.

The technician will unload bulk liquids, collect samples, resolve inbound load issues, and operate hi-lo and end loaders safely. A strong understanding of waste streams and their treatment is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with hazardous materials is required.
• Ability to operate equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to read labels and documentation and hear alarms.

Responsibilities

• Know location and treatment for inbound waste streams.
• Treat and process waste with onsite equipment.
• Complete required paperwork per practices and procedures.
• Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank.
• Operate hi-lo and end loaders safely.
• Have knowledge of waste streams and their treatment protocol.
