Job summary

Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals is seeking a on-site support role for Sustainability Services, performing manual tasks in chemical handling, lab pack duties, and drum movements within the facility. Qualifications

• Requires 24-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Associates degree or equivalent acceptable; HS diploma with relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure waste types are segregated and properly labeled; maintain logs and comply with regulations.
• Assist with drum movements, lab pack duties, and other manual tasks related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency for customers.
• Provide safety-focused support and follow all environmental, safety, and transportation regulations.
