Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Environmental Plant Technician for the 2nd shift in Williston, VT. The role involves loading/unloading drums and containers, sampling contents, and consolidating waste for processing in an outside warehouse environment.

Qualified candidates must pass a 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire and have basic knowledge of hazardous materials, with preferred forklift/pallet-jack experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Able to operate equipment per safety standards and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload drums, totes, and containers of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from trucks.
• Sample contents of drums, totes, and containers.
• Consolidate drum contents into larger containers for processing.
• Operate forklift under safety standards (training provided).
