Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a hazardous materials processing operator in Wisconsin. You will receive, sample, label, and process hazardous and non-hazardous materials to ensure regulatory compliance and proper disposal.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, mixing and processing materials, moving containers, and training new staff. Requires HAZWOPER and forklift certifications, a high school diploma, and 15 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 15+ years experience in similar field/capacity.
• Basic knowledge of chemical hazards and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as front-end loader, excavator, etc.
• Mix and process hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Sample and receive drums according to profiles for lab testing.
• Move material using tractor-trailers and roll-off containers.
• Training of new employees and safety procedures.
