Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC in the United States is seeking a Process Planner to review, approve, and route hazardous waste containers through VGS treatment processes, ensuring chemical compatibility and safety.

The role requires coordinating between Stabilization/Landfill, Production, Operations, and Approvals to optimize waste processing while maintaining high safety and regulatory standards. A BS in Chemistry and 2–4 years in hazardous waste are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related discipline required
• 2-4 years in the hazardous waste industry preferred
• Extensive knowledge in processing methodologies
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong customer orientation and presentation ability

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and route hazardous waste containers through VGS treatment processes.
• Coordinate between Stabilization/Landfill, Production, Operations, and Approvals to optimize waste processing.
• Prepare a variety of weekly and monthly reports to verify burn plans are effective and efficient.
• Maintain and update reactive database and all profiles to composition, handling, incineration.
• Insure hazardous waste inventory is processed within designated time parameters.
• Provide instructions to hourly personnel for proper and safe handling and incineration.
• Other duties as assigned.
