Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a qualified Waste Review & Approval professional to oversee disposal approvals for hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You will review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with precision, ensure regulatory compliance, and support incineration and landfill operations.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry, 5–6 years in hazardous waste, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience. OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred; the position offers comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

BS in Chemistry or related discipline.
5–6 years in hazardous waste industry or related work experience.
1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Waste review and approval of materials for disposal with compliance checks.
Identify, track, and resolve off-specification waste issues in systems.
Conduct labpack audits prior to acceptance.
Maintain and enhance approval data in FMS database.
Provide timely feedback to branches and customers regarding waste opportunities.
Support field operations with drum segregation oversight and compliance verification.
Serve as technical resource for incineration and landfill operations; assist planners.
Complete approvals on a variety of materials and timelines.
