Qualifications

• Good mechanical and technical knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to read and understand the material.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate – must know basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and railcars in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Read and record local instrumentation; obtain and analyze samples for quality.
• Contain, clean up, package, and label Hazardous Waste per OSHA, EPA, RCRA and related regs.
• Operate valves and equipment manually; troubleshoot process irregularities.
• Contribute to the plant safety program; attend meetings and inspect for hazards.
• Inspect vessels and equipment to prevent failures; keep plant clean and orderly.
• Assist in plant projects including maintenance, turnarounds, lockout/tag-out, confined space entries.
• Support emergency response plans and mitigation efforts.
