Job summary

Rad Pros is seeking a Waste Management Specialist to sample, profile, oversee, and document the disposal of unique waste streams. You will work with site assessments, field sampling, surveys, and lab data, ensuring compliance with state regulations related to hazardous waste and NORM/TENORM.

The role is in-office near Watkins, CO, with roughly 30% travel and reports to the VP of Waste & Logistics. You will manage field projects, coordinate with clients, and support the business with project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Health Physics, Environmental Sciences, or related field preferred but can be substituted for industry knowledge and training.
• RCRA, USDOT, and radioactive materials training and credentials highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team members.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform basic field work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sampling work on projects and schedule execution.
• Manage inventory and order sampling supplies.
• Use ClickUp and internal software to project manage and maintain waste boards.
• Prepare hazardous and radioactive waste manifests for disposal facilities.
• Obtain export/import permits and ensure notifications to regulators.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed.
• Support field projects including shipping activities and radiation surveys.
• Review large data sets and balance critical details.
