Job summary

Rad Pros is seeking a Waste Management Specialist to sample, profile, oversee, and document disposal for hazardous and radioactive waste streams. You will coordinate with operations, schedule field projects, and manage permits and waste profiles with a focus on regulatory compliance.

The role requires 30% travel, in-office work near Watkins, Colorado, and reporting to the Vice President of Waste & Logistics. A Bachelor’s in a related field plus industry training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Sciences, Health Physics, Environmental Sciences or related field; substitution possible with training/experience.
• RCRA, USDOT, and radioactive materials training and credentials highly preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in hazardous waste, lab analysis review, and profiling/manifesting waste.
• Ability to manage field work, data, and reporting with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sampling work with Director of Operations and project team.
• Schedule and ensure execution of projects with clients and subcontractors.
• Update calendars and project status; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Manage inventory and ordering of sampling supplies and PPE.
• Use ClickUp and internal software to project manage and maintain waste boards.
• Submit waste profiles to disposal facilities and manage export/import permits.
• Prepare hazardous and radioactive waste manifests and ensure compliance.
• Support field projects including shipping, radiation surveys, and data analysis.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally as required.
