Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Environmental Field Specialist I to act as CSR/Logistics Coordinator and Waste Management technician on customer sites. You will apply RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations to packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste, while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role may involve supervising subcontractors and coordinating with TSDF facilities. The position requires knowledge of regulatory requirements, ability to obtain required certifications, and

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, UVX, AS400 and Access.
• Ability to classify waste per RCRA, EPA, and DOT.
• Hazardous waste handling and safety procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Apply RCRA, DOT and EPA regulations for hazardous waste handling and disposal.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Coordinate and schedule hazardous waste pickups and shipments.
• Prepare shipping paperwork for hazardous waste.
• Inspect sites and perform audits to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and track profiles and TSDF submissions.
