Job summary

ARMADA INC. in Hawaii seeks an ESH Hazardous Waste/Material Coordinator to manage HW/HM handling, storage, and compliance for marine projects. You will ensure adherence to customer, company, and environmental policies while supporting field operations aboard ships and in yards.

Responsibilities include conducting daily and weekly inspections, interpreting safety docs, and coordinating with ESH Manager and project teams. A high school diploma and 2 years in marine coating or HW/HM are required.

Qualifications

• Formal or informal on the job training and 2-year experience in the Marine Coating Industry or Maritime HW/HM Industry
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage HW/HM to ensure compliance with customer, company, State, Federal and environmental policies and regulations.
• Conduct Daily & Weekly Inspections of HW/HM Storage Areas
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Primary job function typically requires exercising independent judgment and attention to detail.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
