Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking a qualified ESH Hazardous Waste/Material Coordinator to oversee all HW/HM management, handling, and storage for projects. This role requires ensuring compliance with customer, company, state, federal, and environmental regulations while supporting operations on ships, dry docks, or shipyards.

The position entails inspecting storage areas, following safety procedures, and coordinating with ESH/Project Management.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in marine coating or maritime HW/HM.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety & environmental documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process HW/HM to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conduct Daily & Weekly Inspections of HW/HM storage areas.
• Follow established guidelines and use experience to plan goals.
• Exercise independent judgment and attention to detail.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
