Job summary

Veolia is hiring for a 3rd Shift role that supports hazardous waste handling operations. The team will consolidate, treat, store, transport and dispose of hazardous waste following compliant practices.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, and accurate documentation in a dynamic environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience with hazardous materials, be able to work outdoors in all weather and indoors in non-climate-controlled

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste per regulations and procedures.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds daily.
• Operate forklift and other equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely per regulations and customer policies.
