Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, process, and store hazardous and nonhazardous waste at a permitted facility. You will operate forklifts and Bobcats, manage pump systems for storage, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1+ years of related experience (required).
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with rules and regulations.
• Operates a fork truck and Bobcat with attachments.
• Directs liquid waste through a system of pumps to tanks for storage.
• Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Utilizes barcode system equipment to document inventory activities.
• Reviews laboratory data to determine proper handling and disposal of materials.
• Uses DOT knowledge to label inbound materials for storage and shipping.
• Maintains clean and safe operating areas.
• Utilizes EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations.
• Uses Arcwood labeling systems to handle containers.
• Uses appropriate PPE as needed.
• Performs additional duties to support the team.
