Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is hiring for a position involving routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks with a focus on movement of solids and liquids. Under supervision, you will assist with cleaning, decontamination, and loading/unloading containers for processing at site or transport to facilities.

The role requires basic reading/writing skills, forklift familiarity, and a willingness to work in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months experience in hazardous waste or chemical industry preferred.
• Forklift proficiency and familiarity with various hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Move, stack, label and load containers for processing or transport.
• Operate tools such as impact wrenches and shovels as needed.
• Transport hazardous waste within facilities and assist with disposal.
• Complete paperwork for material processing and transportation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
