Clean Earth, Detroit is seeking an Environmental Technician III to supervise daily production activities at the Detroit TSDF. You will lead handoff and communications within teams, ensure packaging and paperwork are accurate, and manage sampling of inbound waste for lab analysis.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, PPE use, and compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations in a unionized field operation.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience working with hazardous materials.
• Able to read, write and speak English in a professional environment.
• Must be able to wear PPE including eye protection, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls and respirator.

Responsabilités

• Supervise segregation and packaging material for process and complete paperwork in a legible, accurate, and timely manner per regulations and policies.
• Separate and pack hazardous material for transport.
• Complete required paperwork according to practices and procedures.
• Collect samples of inbound waste for laboratory analysis.
