Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a laboratory analyst to prepare and analyze hazardous waste samples using EPA/ASTM methods in a state-of-the-art lab in Beaumont, Texas. You will follow QA/QC protocols, perform calculations, and maintain instruments and documents.

The role requires preparing reagents, maintaining equipment, and documenting results. Strong teamwork, communication, and time management are essential, along with 24‑hour HAZWOPER training preferred and a chemistry background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Login samples manually and electronically with proper labeling.
• Sub-sample waste, process, and product samples per methods and guidelines.
• Analyze sub-samples per procedures; conduct QA/QC analyses.
• Document test results and QA/QC data for supervisor review.
• Prepare reagents and standards as directed.
• Maintain analytical equipment and QA/QC records.
• Assist in compiling analysis data for management review.
• Perform periodic audits of analytical logs for compliance.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
