Job summary

Clean Harbors- CYN in Stoughton MA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

You will perform physical labor, operate light and heavy equipment, and wear PPE. The role includes on-call emergency response on rotating weeks and adherence to all safety protocols and

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as described in responsibilities.
• Willingness to be on-call and work overtime including weekends/holidays when required.
• Pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety as a top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use a variety of hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE correctly, including respirators and protection for skin, eyes, hands, and feet.
• Work outdoors in varied temperatures and weather conditions; handle hazardous materials safely.
• Conduct field sampling and calibrate meters; climb ladders/scaffolding as needed.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis and participate in site remediation tasks.
