Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Field Services Supervisor to oversee field crews at customer sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with consultant and customer specifications. The role reports to the Field Office and dispatches to projects regionally.

Required 3+ years of hazardous waste field experience and a strict requirement to be clean shaven when wearing respirators. High-school diploma or equivalent is required for this position at Arcwood Environmental.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hazardous waste field experience (required).
• Exposure may require clean shaven to wear respirator.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Provides supervision of site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications; performs each job in the most efficient manner possible
• Oversees the safety of the crew, ensuring employees are wearing proper safety equipment and following safe work practices
• Keeps customer informed of job progress; answers any onsite questions and maintains good customer relations
• Completes daily documentation to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated documentation; keeps project manager informed of changes in usage from contract
• Serves as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed
• Supervises emergency response teams as needed
• Participates in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and discipline decisions as needed
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
