Zusammenfassung

Veolia is seeking a hands-on Operator for our Port Arthur facility to process specialty waste streams and operate heavy equipment. You will document and track feed through the incineration process, perform daily inspections, and coordinate with supervision on feed changes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, training in hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER) and the ability to pass a respirator fit test.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• No unsatisfactory work performance and must be qualified in current position (6) months or more.
• Experience or training related to hazardous waste operations preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate rolling stock equipment (forklifts, man lifts, tankers).
• Document transfers and logs accurately and communicate with affected departments.
• Maintain hot sums and complete daily rounds/inspections of equipment.
• Assist with ash/deslagging and waste feeding tasks.
• Address spills or emergencies per site procedures.
