Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Facility Manager for our Smithfield, NC site with expertise in hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The role oversees 10-day operational activities and reports to the Vice President of Disposal, driving regulatory compliance and efficient waste handling.

Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years in the hazardous waste industry, a related BS degree, and a strong commitment to safety, training, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in the hazardous waste industry.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related major (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to manage a Part B permitted TSDF.
• Understand the governing TSDF permit and ensure compliance.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly compliance inspections, training, SOP implementation and review.
• Supervise general facility operations and cover for the manager as needed.
• Consolidate waste according to TSDF permit and customer requirements.
• Coordinate outbound loads, deliveries, and transporter scheduling.
• Develop understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations and health and safety practices.
• Engage in waste tracking systems and participate in ER training after program completion.
