Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. in Moraine, OH is seeking a Hazmat Specialist to perform safety inspections, daily plant walk-throughs, and report hazards to the EHS Manager.

You will manage the HAZWASTE Central Accumulation Area and Satellite Accumulation Areas, inspect PPE and safety equipment, and support special projects. The role requires coordinating with EHS staff on training (DOT, RCRA, HAZWOPER), maintaining records, and assisting ISO 14001/45001 initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic facility walk-throughs and observe safety hazards; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct training on hazardous waste handling, spill response, and emergency procedures; track attendance and trainings.
• Classify and manage hazardous waste streams, maintain proper storage, labeling and disposal coordination.
• Maintain regulatory records and support EHS management in ISO 14001/45001 initiatives.
