Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking an Environmental Technician to support regulatory requirements for OSHA, TCEQ, RCRA, EPA, and DOT. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure our manufacturing facility meets environmental objectives and remains compliant.

Responsibilities include waste handling per RCRA, sampling, inspections, spill response, and recordkeeping, with movement of waste in accordance with DOT requirements and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in EHS program preferred.
• Experience handling hazardous waste and satellite accumulation areas is a plus.
• Familiarity with stormwater permit requirements and environmental reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle RCRA hazardous waste requirements and satellite accumulation areas.
• Maintain 90-day hazardous waste drum logs and related records.
• Inspect waste storage areas and ensure proper labeling and storage.
