SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Technician for its Hawthorne campus to implement regulatory requirements (RCRA/EPA/CUPA/DOT) and support hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, and disposal. The role involves coordinating with engineers and shop teams to maintain compliance, oversee waste shipments, and participate in spill response activities on site.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 2+ years in EH&S programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.

Responsabilités

• Ensure environmental compliance with EPA, RCRA, CUPA and DOT.
• Handle RCRA hazardous waste storage, labeling and disposal requirements.
• Record and maintain 90-day hazardous waste inventory logs.
• Assist in waste shipments with SpaceX Environmental team and contractors.
• Implement SPCC plan at Hawthorne facility.
• Support waste minimization and process improvement initiatives.
