Job summary

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Environmental Supervisors to join the Mercedes Benz US International facility in Vance, AL. The role focuses on handling hazardous waste, overseeing environmental management programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance across shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in waste management, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks and drug tests. OSHA/Hazwoper certifications are preferred to support site safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in waste management.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Respirator and PPE required for the role.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks and drug testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• HAZWOPER/RCRA/DOT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review safety documents with the crew and enforce precautions.
• Inspect equipment and remove damaged items from service.
• Provide tools, supplies, and direction to the crew.
• Serve as liaison with customers/clients and document site reports.
• Recommend equipment purchases and maintenance needs.
• Operate forklifts and burden carriers; load shipments for disposal.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and hazardous waste regulations.
