Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, with duties on and off client sites for hazardous waste cleanup.

This role requires attendance at a two-week paid Academy training (out of state possible) with expenses covered by the company; it offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Complete a background check, drug test, and physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Load and unload trucks and perform on-site manual labor as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets and follow DOT/regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safety and proper placarding for vehicles and handling of hazardous materials.
