Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking experienced CDL B drivers to support hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste disposal at customer sites across the assigned route. You will travel to retail facilities, pack and document waste in compliance with DOT, EPA, and DEA regulations, with four overnight stays per week and hotel expenses covered.

The role requires Hazmat endorsement, a valid Class B CDL, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, English literacy, and passing DOT drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED required
• Hazmat Endorsement required for transporting waste
• Understand, read, and write English
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of Word/Excel
• Willing to wear PPE as needed
• Valid Class B CDL
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check

Responsibilities

• Characterize, segregate, package and document hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste.
• Travel between customer retail facilities within assigned territory.
• Manage hazardous and pharmaceutical waste services and documentation.
• Prepare manifests and LDRs for hazardous waste shipments.
• Maintain travel schedule and route to meet 10-day transfer schedules.
• Provide training and support for customers on processes and compliance.
• Provide written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
