Job summary

Veolia is seeking experienced CDL B drivers to support hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste handling across retail locations. Expect to travel within your assigned territory, with 4 overnights per week and hotel costs paid along with a per diem.

Responsibilities include waste characterization, packaging, documentation, and regulatory compliance, plus client training and reporting to supervisors. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required for transporting waste.
• CDL Class B license is required.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Able to stand, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Characterize, segregate, package and document hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste.
• Travel between customer retail facilities within assigned territory.
• Manage retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste processes and documentation.
• Prepare manifests and LDRs for hazardous waste shipments per regulations.
• Manage expenses, travel schedule, and 10-day transfer timelines.
• Provide training and support to customers on processes and compliance.
• Provide written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
