Veolia | North America is seeking an experienced professional to review and approve hazardous and non-hazardous materials for disposal in Port Arthur, Texas. The role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, possesses 5-6 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in Microsoft Suite. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, emphasizing a strong commitment to employee well-being.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience.
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracks individual profiles to ensure that approvals are completed in a reasonable amount of time to meet scheduled incineration.
• Assigns pricing codes to waste streams.
• Assigns parameters in laboratory testing of individual samples to verify material.
• Provide constructive input on existing and/or proposed policies, regulations, and other pertinent changes to expedite the approval process.
• Completes the approvals on a variety of materials.
• Assists in the technical training for facility.
