Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a qualified reviewer to assess hazardous and non-hazardous materials for disposal in compliance with permits and regulatory requirements. You will determine acceptability of chemical components using analytical data, MSDS, and facility information, ensuring the approval process aligns with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline.
• 5–6 years in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Waste Review & Approval: Review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with meticulous attention to detail.
• Discrepancy Management: Identify, track, and resolve off-specification waste issues.
• Labpack Audits: Conduct detailed audits and reviews of labpack shipments prior to acceptance.
• Approvals Enrichment: Maintain and enhance approval data in FMS database.
• Customer Communication: Provide timely feedback to branches and customers regarding waste opportunities.
• Quality Assurance: Support field operations with drum segregation oversight and safety compliance.
