Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an experienced Waste Review and Approval Lead to ensure worker safety and regulatory compliance while maximizing revenue from waste streams. You will oversee SDS reviews, hazard characterization, and approval protocols in a senior technical capacity.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, establishing standards, and leading process improvements across approval workflows. A strong background in analytical chemistry and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with meticulous attention to detail.
• Provide senior-level technical authority on complex or high-risk waste streams.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff on waste analysis methodologies.
• Develop and implement waste approval standards and best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for approval processes.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation.
