Job summary

The Chemico Group is seeking a Logistics Analyst to define requirements, forecast demand, and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery at the Macon, GA facility. This role focuses on HM handling and compliance, working with customers to refine needs and prepare sole source justifications when needed.

You will analyze inventory data, monitor KPI trends, maintain EESOH-MIS and Tailwind tools, and collaborate with 3PLs and internal teams to optimize service levels and reduce costs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of chemical management experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in contract construction, negotiation and application.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass government background checks.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with HM tracking systems (e.g., EESOH-MIS) and CMS/supply chain.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HM/HW processes and relevant regulations (RCRA, CVI, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Demand planning and forecasting to maintain inventory at Macon, GA warehouse.
• Analyze data to adjust Inventory Management Plan as demand changes.
• Collaborate with logistics to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
• Maintain knowledge of EESOH-MIS and Tailwind tools and generate reports.
• Track HM disposition from cradle to grave.
• Develop models for logistics effectiveness such as cost estimation.
• Monitor warehouse transactions for accuracy and integrity.
• Calculate metrics like on-time delivery and inventory turns.
• Review local, state and federal regulations related to chemical management.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
