Job summary

Loadstar is seeking a Chemical Loader to safely load and unload liquid hazardous materials into railcars and trucks at our site. You will follow all procedures, wear PPE, and operate loading equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards.

The role requires OSHA safety awareness, a TWIC card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks. Expect an on-site, hourly, non-exempt schedule with 2/2/3 shifts and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious.
• Must possess and maintain an active TWIC card and valid driver's license with reliable means of transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally able to work in the US.
• Demonstrated stable work history with positive references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Position and secure railcars and/or trucks at the loading rack before transfer.
• Visually inspect railcars/trucks for defects or safety hazards before loading.
• Wear required PPE to ensure personal safety during transfer.
• Connect loading equipment and transfers according to procedures.
• Monitor product weight to comply with DOT requirements and limits.
• Report problems to site leaders and finish required paperwork after transfer.
• Safely disconnect equipment and inspect for leaks or abnormalities after transfer.
