Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Asbestos and Lead Inspector/Monitor for the Regulated Building Materials and Industrial Hygiene team in the Los Angeles area. You will perform field inspections, abatement monitoring, air sampling and on-site analysis with potential IAQ/mold work.

Credentials such as CA CSST or CAC and Lead Sampling Technician, plus valid CA driver’s license, are required. Travel across Southern California and other western states is expected; full benefits and competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting environment with lead-paint, hazardous building materials management, IAQ, mold evaluations.
• State of California CSST or CAC credentials required/preferred CA Lead Sampling Technician.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain required medical clearance and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with project managers, abatement contractors and clients to ensure project success.
• Performs inspections/surveys and abatement monitoring for asbestos, lead, mold and IAQ.
• Produces detailed field notes and sampling summaries for client reports.
• Travels to project sites in Southern California with potential overnight stays.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, or extended shifts as needed.
