Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Asbestos and Lead Inspector/Monitor for the Regulated Building Material and Industrial Hygiene team, located in the Los Angeles area with offices in Los Angeles or Irvine. The role covers inspections, abatement monitoring, air sampling, and onsite analysis for projects across Southern California and beyond.

Ideal candidates hold California CSST asbestos credential and Lead Sampling Technician credential, with travel across sites, flexible hours, and a strong background in

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting environment with lead-paint, hazardous building materials management, indoor air quality, mold evaluations, and ventilation system assessments.
• State of California Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST)
• State of California Lead Sampling Technician preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Inspect and survey facilities for asbestos, lead, mold, IAQ, and other regulated materials.
• Provide detailed field notes and sampling summaries.
• Travel to project locations in the greater Southern California area; overnight stays as needed.
• Support project managers and abatement contractors to ensure on-time, high-quality performance.
• Work hours may include nights, weekends, or extended shifts depending on project needs.
