Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Haytools Field Test Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience updating prototype equipment, executing field tests, and diagnosing system-level issues with engineers to improve product designs.

You will travel to remote test locations about 40-60% of the internship, participate in Creo modeling tasks, review test plans, and collect field and lab data to support reliable, safe, high-quality equipment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Updating prototype equipment and supporting design teams with Creo modeling tasks.
• Reviewing test plans and executing tests on-site and in the field.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues related to field equipment.
• Collecting and interpreting field and lab data, including sensor data.
• Communicating results by submitting timely test reports covering performance and safety.
• Maintaining accurate test records for future reference and analysis.
• Assisting with the build and assembly of prototype machinery.
• Traveling to remote test locations for extended periods (40-60% of internship).
