Job summary

The Hawker 4000 Captain (PIC) position is in Kansas City and is operated under a client of George J. Priester Aviation. The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, flight planning, crew coordination, risk management, and excellent passenger service.

The role flies approximately 350 hours per year in a Part 135 environment. Ideal candidates hold an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a multi-engine rating and current First-Class Medical, with strong FAA

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of FAA regulations and airspace operations.
• Experience in leading cockpit crews and coordinating flight activities.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot in Command with final authority for safe operation of the aircraft.
• Conduct pre-flight planning including weather, routing, fuel, and aircraft checks.
• Lead CRM to ensure efficient teamwork and safety throughout all flight phases.
• Provide exceptional passenger service and address client needs during flights.
• Participate in Safety Management System activities and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and guide First Officers and other crew members.
