Job summary

George J. Priester Aviation is recruiting a Hawker 4000 Captain (PIC) to operate as Pilot in Command for a client-based air charter program in the Kansas City area.

The successful candidate will handle flight planning, crew coordination, safety, and customer service while ensuring FAA compliance, regulatory adherence, and aircraft readiness for Part 135 operations.

Interview and selection will be conducted by the client.

Qualifications

• Pilot in Command (PIC) responsibilities and FAA compliance
• Strong leadership and customer service focus
• Experience with FARs and Part 135 operations

Responsibilities

• Flight Operations: act as PIC with final authority for safe operation on all flights.
• Pre-flight planning: weather, performance, routing, fuel, airworthiness checks.
• Crew Resource Management: coordinate with crew and maintain safety culture.
• Passenger service: ensure safety and comfort for clients.
• Safety management: engage in SMS, risk analysis, audits and corrective actions.
• Mentorship & leadership: guide First Officers and crew.
• Post-flight duties: complete reports and maintenance notes.
• Regulatory compliance: maintain currency and training per FAA requirements.
