Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Hawaii seeks an Activities Associate to organize and lead recreational activities for guests, coordinating with the Rooms Manager to operate all activity areas, including hula, lei making, and special events.

We value creativity, strong communication, and good judgement. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; certifications such as Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid may be needed depending on location. Local candidates only.

Qualifications

• Creativity and customer obsession.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Certifications such as Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card may be required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Attend and complete required resort trainings.
• Handle all safety issues and incidents immediately.
