Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Bakersfield is seeking motivated individuals to join our Kitchen Crew. You will support back-of-house operations, perform food preparation, inventory stocking, and ensure quality and portion control at the cookline while delivering timely meals to customers.

This hourly role offers a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour, with part-time or full-time options, health and retirement benefits, paid sick time, meal discounts, and opportunities for bonuses and recognition.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills, basic English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
