Hawaii Engineering Services in Hawaii seeks a project coordinator to support design-build efforts across Hawaii, American Samoa and Guam/Saipan. The role involves reading plans, creating BOMs, and developing narratives for projects, with focus on documentation and client communication.

Candidates should have a science-related degree, 1–2 years of construction-related experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• College degree in science related field.
• 1–2 years minimum experience in construction, design, consulting, engineering, or construction management.
• Ability to read, interpret construction plans.
• Ability to read, understand, and extract data from contract specifications.
• Experience creating Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Submittals.
• Strong communication with customers, vendors, and teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Read and follow project plans and specifications
• Create Bill of Materials for each project
• Develop narratives for the intended function of the project
• Manage all project documentation per company standards using project management software and project specific requirements.
• Communicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases of the projects.
