Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Coordinator/EIT to design water and wastewater systems, under guidance from the Project Engineer, in Honolulu or Maui. You’ll prepare plans, write specifications, perform analyses, sizing, and work directly with owners to deliver projects that protect public health and the environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and experience in water/wastewater design, with AutoCAD/MicroStation and MS Office proficiency, and be ready to work in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater systems under instruction from the Project Engineer.
• Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specs, analysis and study-level reports, and determine design methods, equipment sizing and selection.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
