Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northwest in Kapolei, HI is seeking a Production Supervisor who will implement company policies and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, in coordination with the Branch Manager. You will Direct leads and shop teammates, manage staffing and overtime, coordinate inventory for reinforcing steel, and oversee maintenance of machinery.

Requirements include 5–8 years in reinforcing steel fabrication with at least 3 years in supervision, OSHA knowledge, and US work

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in reinforcing steel fabrication or related field.
• At least 3 years of supervision experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety Standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct shop leads and teammates to safety, production volume, cost, quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates.
• Manage workforce levels and overtime to meet customer needs and control costs.
• Oversee hiring, training, motivation, and evaluation of team.
• Coordinate branch inventory and order reinforcing steel as needed to meet customer needs within inventory goals.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities for efficient production.
• Provide operating data to maintain costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain good employee relations and enforce company policies and bargaining agreements.
