Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the ITS2 contract in Hawaii, overseeing on-site operations for USINDOPACOM J6 at Camp H.M. Smith. You will manage contract performance, personnel, and customer engagement from the island.

Requires 5+ years of IT management, preferably with DoD experience, and an on-island residency. Hybrid work within commuting distance of Honolulu is allowed. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology management or IT program management.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary IT support teams and government contracts, preferably DoD.
• On-site presence on Oahu, Hawaii is mandatory; hybrid work is allowed within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program leadership and on-site management for the ITS2 contract supporting USINDOPACOM J6.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, COR, and stakeholders to ensure contract performance and compliance.
• Lead personnel management, staffing, and performance, and manage operational risks and improvements.
